The thoughts behind two words

"So What"

SO WHAT isn't about apathy, or not caring about yourself. In fact, it's the opposite: it's about not caring what people think when you are being your best, most authentic self. It's about seeing others around you who are trying to do the same, and helping them say to a world of conformity and mesmerized clones: "This is who I am. So what."

I guess it's just about acknowledging your humanity. Amid the drive to be your best self, it's giving yourself some slack and allowing yourself to just be human. It's not about being proud of your mistakes or failures, but simply owning them and coexisting with them as part of your story, a story you're still writing every day.

Walking in this mindset takes courage, intention, and practice. I hope my story and some of these simple items can help play a part in that practice.
